- The American Red Cross is working directly with the Japanese Red Cross to provide much needed disaster relief on-site. You can also text REDCROSS to 90999 which donates them $10.
- Lady Gaga’s Japan Earthquake Relief Wrist Band: $5 each. All proceeds go to Japan relief efforts.
- Japan Society is accepting donation on behalf of the Japanese Consulate.
- MSF/Doctors Without Borders has a team of doctors working on-site. They are an amazing and courageous organization I have supported as a field donor for many years. Humanitarian crises like one in Japan is unfortunately happening around the globe all the time...you can help MSF provide much needed medical assistance to the victims. Donate through your local MSF agency below. (Note: you may not be able to earmark your donation specifically for the Japan/Pacific Tsunami, since MSF needs funding for all of their efforts around the world)

Help Japan {Part 2}
As I was creating this post, another large earthquake (M6.4) just hit the Shizuoka/Yamanashi area just West of Tokyo. The Fukushima Nuclear Plant situation is getting worse, causing thousands of people to evacuate the area and brace for the worst. The official death toll has surpassed 3,300, with 7,000+ still unaccounted for. 460,000+ people are still in shelters with little or no food, water, heat, gasoline, medicine, or means of communication. I am reposting how you can help, with more options (thanks monkey for the suggestion).
